I can do this free of charge for you if you bring the car to the workshop. The alpha n is not necessary, the car will drive fine without it but you will have the engine light illuminated and you will need to leave the air temp sensor unplugged until you have the alpha n activated.

The kit ideally requires 'alpha n' mapping (or a remap for more power) and csl scaling for the air temp sensor just like the CSL carbon airbox's, I can advise more on this to anyone interested but will include the software with the kit and instructions to talk you through it if required - you will need to purchase a BMCABLES K-line cable, these are £28 and are a great tool to have if you dont already have one. The kit is also suitable for the Z4M should you be lucky enough to own one but will not fit the e36 M3.
